PSI's Reception at PPRC 2023 was a hit!

The Paper and Plastics Recycling Conference—Oct. 11-12 in Chicago—kicked off Oct. 10th with PSI's perennial-favorite event.

The reception was held on the 33rd Floor of the Marriott Marquis Chicago, the PPRC host hotel. This special PSI event allowed participants to have a positive networking event with industry colleagues while celebrating PSI's scholarship fundraising results.

PSI members who attended received a PSI tie-dyed bandana (pictured here). Then, members who bring their PSI bandanas to the PSI-sponsored panel session on Thursday, Oct. 12 (see below), will be entered in a drawing for a door prize to win one of two $50 VISA gift cards.

Legislated Disruption

10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Various recycled-content and extended producer responsibility laws have been enacted. This session examines how such laws are affecting the supply of and demand for recyclables and the pros and cons of the changing paradigm on how recycling is funded.
