August Civic Holiday and TVCC closure |
TVCC will be closed on Friday, August 4 and Monday, August 7, in recognition of the Civic holiday.
We hope that everyone is enjoying the summer with their families and friends! We wish you all a safe and relaxing August in preparation for the new school year.

Under The Stars will be an outdoor movie event in support of TVCC.
The event will take place outdoors at London International Airport on September 22, 2023, and includes various family-friendly activities with a carnival-like theme. The evening will end with a screening of a feature film to be enjoyed by all who attend.

Tickets are $60 for General Admission and $100 for VIP.
VIP tickets include the best seats and a snack pack.
Tickets are PER VEHICLE, not per person.

Caregivers/parents can attend, in-person, to share their experiences, information, challenges, successes and strategies, or just hang out and drink some coffee!

This virtual open house is an opportunity for parents, caregivers and service providers to meet with many of the inclusive and specialized fall/winter community-based recreation, leisure and sport programs that are available for children and youth with special needs/disabilities in the London region.

Summer Adventures Day Camp (4-9 yrs)
Campers will explore and participate in a variety of activities each day including: crafts, active games, sports, music, stretching, outdoor activities and water play.

London Children's Museum Summer Camp - Backyard Biology (4-9 yrs)
This inclusive camp will feature themed hands-on activities. With Backyard Biology your child will discover a magnificent and microscopic world hiding right in your own backyard.

In-Person Summer Activity (3-12 yrs)
Children with autism & parents in Owen Sound & Windsor can join us with your child to explore activities included in the Summer Activity Kits (sold out within 2 weeks!) - no kit required. Siblings are welcome.

Jumping Jellyfish at South London Community Pool (2.5 - 5 yrs)
Preschoolers with special needs can explore swimming in a supportive group environment. Participants will enjoy water experiences including group songs, games, swim skills and explore water floatation devices while playing and socializing with peers.

Learn and Play - London/Woodstock (2-5 yrs)
Families will have the opportunity to engage with their child in play skills, songs, story time and make connections with other children and families with the support of a TVCC Occupational Therapist, Recreation Therapy and Therapy Assistant and Family & Community Consultant.

How Do Youth and Young Adults Deal with Life’s Challenges?
TVCC is part of a research collaboration examining Youth Resiliency. Consider participating in an interview study and help us learn about resiliency.
We are interested in how young people with disabilities (ages 12 to 29) adapt to situational challenges that occur in their lives.
