CERT Disaster Preparedness Event

Fort Lauderdale Emergency Management is hosting a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) exercise on Friday, February 28th for CERT members to practice responding to emergencies and disasters.


As part of that, they will be conducting a distribution of FREE flood bucket kits. These kits include a large bucket, mop, sponges, brushes, and other cleaning essentials that can be used to clean up after a flood.


All Fort Lauderdale residents are welcome to drive through the Point of Distribution at Snyder Park from 1:00 - 3:00 PM to obtain their free kit, while supplies last!

Art in the Garden - Snyder Park

Enjoy a guided tour of a permaculture demonstration garden, butterfly garden, and food forest with Kim Heise.

After Heal The Planet's Nature Tour, Stephanie McMillan will immerse participants in a beautiful art and garden experience.

Visit the coloring and drawing station, featuring free coloring pages by Stephanie McMillan. Contribute to the display walls, where participants can share artwork, recipes, and messages about locally grown fruits and vegetables.

ECA Multi-Neighbor Yard Sale NEW DATE - Saturday, April 5, 2025

Gather all your treasures and join in this community yard sale. We will be utilizing the Clubhouse to create this easy way for everyone to have a yard sale at once. Sign -up for a table for $15 and then you just have to show up with your items and be responsible for your table only. We will handle the promotion and community outreach.
