Meteor Inkjet unveils Nozzle Health Technology

Nozzle Health Technology is the first commercially available system to provide real-time health monitoring of every inkjet printhead nozzle improving the visibility of nozzle performance.

The system measures the impulse response of each nozzle in fractions of a millisecond identifying issues such as wetting, blockage, or air ingestion. Users can automatically compensate for missing nozzles using Meteor’s NozzleFix™ software or pause production before problems occur. This represents a fundamental shift in reliability and quality control for all inkjet applications, particularly in environments where the cost of failure is significant.

Kyocera introduces inkjet printhead for high viscosity industrial materials

Enabled by Kyocera's new proprietary piezo actuator and fluid channel technology interface, the printhad has 1584 nozzles. The new piezo actuator structure enhances jetting force which enables the stable jetting of high-viscosity materials - up to 16 times higher than their conventional technology - and droplet size up to 20 times larger. Kyocera has optimized the fluid channel design by leveraging proprietary fluid simulations enabling stable jetting to improve productivity and quality. The printhead is expected to expand inkjet's use in applications such as 3D printing, painting, and advanced manufacturing that have been difficult to address using conventional inkjet technologies

Thank you Tri Tuladhar for Your Tribute to STEVE TEMPLE – A Giant of Industrial Inkjet

"It is with deep sadness that we mark the passing of Steve Temple last Sunday – one of the true founding fathers of industrial inkjet, visionary inventor, and co-founder of Xaar. The inkjet world has lost one of its greatest pioneers."

Steve did not just contribute to iinkjet, he DEFINED it. His leadership in developing Xaar's shared wall technology fundamentally changed industrial printhead design, enabling high-density, robust and scalable nozzle architectures. His work on ThroughFlow printhead technology revolutionised reliability and fluid handling, making it possible to jet more complex and exotic fluids. Today, ThroughFlow concepts are embedded across virtually all major printhead platforms – a testament to the lasting impact of his ideas. His fingerprints are truly on the entire industry."
