Women and girls literally feel the weight of the water crisis. They carry 40-50 lb water cans on their heads and backs, usually may times a day, and walk for miles and hours to collect life's most basic resource - water.
This huge sacrifice of time robs women and girls of the opportunity to go to school, earn an income, and build bright futures. All to collect water that is so filthy, it will cause illness and even death.
With your help, by September 10th, we will end 15,000 walks for water FOREVER.
