Phew - it has been a hectic couple of weeks leading into the holiday season. We started off the month focusing on year-end donation planning for a few clients and ended with a family philanthropy retreat in Mexico!
With #GivingTuesday having come and gone it got us thinking about how organizations foster relationships with their donors and what types of messages are being heard. There are over 1.6Million charities in North America. Like any industry, there are organizations that are successfully working towards their mandated objectives, and other organizations that fall short. With all the solicitations and noise coming at us over the holidays, how do you know which organizations to support?
