Raising Her Voice, Sharing Her Story

Helen de Castañeda was part of a CDA cohort with EPS Region 6 in 2017-2018. She recently received her CDA credential and even presented at one of our PLCs this year! She shared her story with us. What are you most proud of as an educator (specific memory, educator “super power”, skill, etc.)? "To be able to see each child’s progress, to see how with my dedication and love, they continue learning and developing according to their age. It is wonderful to see the curiosity each child has and the enjoyment for learning that comes naturally for children." You can read the full interview here (in English and Español)

How can you raise your voice and advocate for the field? So many educators were fired up by Amy O'Leary's presentation at our Collaborative meeting and the Workforce Summit.
