Black Mental Health MATTERS.
February is Black History Month and, according to the State of Mental Health in America 2021 report, “while rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation are increasing for people of all races and ethnicities...Black or African American [people] have had the highest average percent change over time for anxiety and depression.”
JFS Delaware is committed to equity and inclusion, from the services we provide in our offices to our advocacy in the community; we are here to help ALL our friends and neighbors thrive. Our diverse team of compassionate, licensed professionals can help you unpack, understand, manage, and overcome the challenges you or your loved one are facing.
Call our free, confidential emotional support hotline: 302-781-4537, available Monday through Friday, 9AM to 9PM.
