Connect With NAWBO &
Strengthen Your Business
The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) portal will re-open to ALL lenders for 1st and 2nd draw loan applications today - Tuesday, January 19th!

NAWBO National shares this information:
SBA wants us to stress two main points to NAWBO members:
  • There will be enough money. Don’t worry.
  • The process will take longer this time because they are verifying businesses more thoroughly on the front-end to prevent fraud. (The business will submit forms to lender, the lender will send them to SBA, SBA will have them for a length of time before they are sent back to the lender with a loan number.) Please be patient with the timeframe.

It's not too late to participate in our #InspiringQuoteChallenge. We create the visual and share the quotes via our social media channels and in our newsletter and credit -- and tag -- you. Reply to this email with your quote. Please be sure to list your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn user handles so we can credit you properly. This week, the NAWBO Atlanta board decided to feature a quote honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Next week, let us feature your quote and your business!
Community Connects
Every Wednesday at 5 pm ET!

Experience meeting other women business owners across the nation! Grab your favorite beverage and join us by video (so we can see each other just like we would in an in-person meeting)! We’ll connect, share best practices and support one another in an interactive format.

This is a safe space to share since the calls are not recorded. Introduce yourself as you participate on the call.

This is what you can expect:
Each week, we will spend the first 10 minutes with introductions from new members that have joined us for the first time. We will spend the next 50 minutes using the breakout room feature to help facilitate stronger connections in smaller groups. Experience the sisterhood of NAWBO!

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining. These sessions will not be recorded.
