Lunch Accounts
The school cafeteria uses an online system called PayForIt.net. They are not able to accept cash payments. Your student must have a lunch account through PayForIt.net in order for them to make purchases.

New Families & Full Day Kindergarten parents were sent an email earlier today with instructions on how to create a new account. You will need your child's student ID number in order to create their account or add them to an existing family account.
Returning Families should update their account:
  • Add/Remove students: click on the add/view students tab
  • Add money to student accounts
  • Update auto-replenish - check the end date for new school year

*Please note that if you have a positive balance for a student that is no longer attending OLMC, please email Val Alvarez in the church office at alvarezv@olmc1.org. She can send you a refund or transfer the balance to another student.

All parents are expected to help serve lunch at least 3 times per year.

For ease of scheduling, we have assigned dates to you. Please click here to check the calendar for your families assigned date(s) and mark your calendar. If you are unable to fulfill your assigned date it is your responsibility to trade with another family. The online school directory on the Directory Spot App is a good tool to find contact information for a family assigned to dates that work better for you. Read more about Directory Spot below.
Directory Spot

Directory Spot is the program for our electronic school family directory.

You can access Directory Spot from any computer at www.DirectorySpot.net or search the app/play stores for Directory Spot (by Taydan Enterprises - icon looks like pic to the right) for your mobile devices.

An email with instructions was sent on August 7. Your email address is your username. If you had an account last year and have not changed your email, you should have the same password. Click on the password reset button to create a new account or to re-set an existing/forgotten password.

Please log into your account to make sure your family contact information is accurate.

If you have children attending Guerin Catholic High School - they use Directory Spot also. As long as you use the same email address as your username for both accounts, they will automatically link for you! Look for the "Schools" option in the lower right corner of the app on your phone.
Safe & Sacred/Protocol Training
Will you be volunteering in your child's classroom? Do you plan to chaperone a field trip? If so, make sure your Safe & Sacred Online training is current. This training must be done every 3 years.

Everyone who works with young people and/or vulnerable adults shares the responsibility of creating safe environments. We are all charged with treating life with the respect and dignity given to each of us by our God.Our policy at OLMC Parish & School, is for any adult working with children in any capacity at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School before, during or after the school day (including driving of the students to sporting events, girl scouts, boy scouts, etc.) is required to first complete "Safe & Sacred," the online safe environment training.

K of C Blood Drive Aug 18
Once again, the Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a blood drive at OLMC.   As an incentive for the students to encourage parents, relatives and neighbors to sign up Sr. Maria Benedicta has once again, agreed to an "out of uniform day" for students who have these individuals bring the attached form to the blood drive on August 18. Plan on donating blood next Sunday!
