Nearly Lear retells Shakespeare's classic story through the eyes of King Lear's closest companion. Playing The Fool - and every other character - Hamnett weaves a tale of both humor and tragedy.

Winner of the 2012 International Performing Arts for Youth Victor Award for Outstanding Production, Nearly Lear has been seen by audiences worldwide, from Broadway to the Sydney Opera House. Aberdeen Press and Journal remarked, 'More wit, mischief and sheer playfulness than you can legally pack into 80 minutes of live theatre!'
