Dear friend,
As the Christmas season approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the blessings of the past year. One of our greatest joys is the opportunity to work with and serve individuals and organizations like yours! Your trust, partnership, and dedication inspire us daily, and we're deeply grateful for the role you play in our journey.
Christmas is a time to celebrate the joy of giving, the warmth of community, and the hope that brightens even the coldest days. As we celebrate this season of love and light, we want you to know how much we appreciate the opportunity to work alongside you in safeguarding those who are vulnerable to abuse. Together, we’ve prevented abuse from occurring, responded when individuals came forward with disclosures and allegations, recognized indicators of abuse, and trained thousands of individuals. Together, we have been a voice for those who cannot speak up for themselves!
We are confident that the work we do together
is making a difference!
As you gather with loved ones and reflect on the meaning of Christmas, may your days be filled with peace, love, and countless moments of joy. Christmas should be a time for everyone to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and experience Christmas just like this. We're excited to see what the new year will bring!
Finally, this Christmas, once again, we are making a heartfelt donation on behalf of our clients and members. This year, the donation will be given to Teen Challenge Canada. Teen Challenge Canada operates 12-month in-residence alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation programs for adults 18+. Their staff and volunteers offer help and hope to those struggling with alcoholism and/or addiction to other drugs. Those in addiction, their family and friends begin their restoration at Teen Challenge. It's humbling to hear their stories, as so often those in residence share of their lived experiences of abuse as children and teens - abuse that caused so much harm, and led them to harmful coping mechanisms. Please also consider giving a one-time gift to this worthy charity to maximize their impact. Why not sponsor a student for their year of residence?
As this year comes to an end, and the new year awaits, take a few moments, won’t you, and recharge, reflect, and rejoice in all that has been accomplished in 2024 and all that is yet to come! We're excited for the opportunities that we will be given in 2025. So, from all of us at Plan to Protect®, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with hope, success, and happiness. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your story!
Warmest wishes,
Melodie Bissell
