GMR Event Recap

GMR’s First Ever Porsche Pop

Up Event

GMR members gathered on Wednesday, June 12th for GMR’s first ever pop-up event. We were hosted by GMR member, Jeremy Elliott, at his Smugglers’ Notch Distillery in Jeffersonville.

Seven members and their Porsches enjoyed Jeremy’s hospitality, great socializing and samples of the Distillery’s award winning spirits. The distillery is rated as the 4th best tasting room in the US and has been recognized as the top 10 Craft Vodka Distillery in the US for the last 4 years.

Keep an eye out for similar events in the coming months.

100 Miles on Vermont Route 100 & Hildene House

Cloudy skies greeted GMR members for the “100 Miles on Vermont Route 100” driving tour and a visit to Hildene House, The Lincoln Family Home in Manchester, VT.

The threatening skies did little to dampen the spirits as we traveled on Vermont Route 100. The trip began in Middlesex, Vermont and concluded at Hildene House. The latter was built in 1905 by Robert and Mary Lincoln, the only child of President Lincoln and his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln to survive into adulthood. We did encounter a few showers but Route 100 did not disappoint and offered plenty of twists and turns. We enjoyed a nice lunch at Hildene and as if on cue, the sun began to shine through as members began their exploration of the property.

Green Mountain Region Name Tags

Want your spouse or partner to also get these

Green Mountain PCA Newsletters?

When you joined PCA (recently or forever ago) you no doubt listed your partner or spouse as a co-member. Many co-members however have not provided their email addresses. If your spouse/partner would like to receive the Mountaineer as well as yourself, have them call PCA HQ at (410) 381-0911‬ and give PCA the information. It only takes a few minutes as PCA is very efficient. That way you both will receive The Mountaineer and other pertinent club emails.

If your co-member remembers his or her co-member login (it is separate from the main member) you can do it that way too-- but calling is probably the quickest.

Member Feature:

Send us your photos!

We have started a feature highlighting a different member in the GMR Mountaineer with his or her Porsche. If you would like to be featured in future newsletter please submit some photos of you and your car along with a paragraph or two explaining why you joined the GMR, your favorite drives or whatever!

Please reply to gmrpca@gmailcom with your photo and information.
