Next week is National Vocation Awareness Week. It is an annual celebration in the Catholic Church dedicated to promoting, praying for, and supporting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life.

This week our students will engage in engage in activities, prayer, discussions, and guest speakers to foster an understanding of vocations as a response to God’s invitation to serve others and deepen their faith. Saints serve as powerful role models of how to live out a divine calling with courage, dedication, and love. They each responded uniquely to God’s invitation, whether as priests, religious sisters and brothers, or laypeople, showing that all vocations are paths to holiness.

On Thursday, November 7th students are asked to

dress up as their favorite Saint.

Veterans Day 2024 - Wall of Honor

Turn in pictures for Wall of Honor by Monday, November 11

Veterans Day 2024!!

The students of St. Anne will be celebrating Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 13th, at the school Mass at 8:30 am. We would like to honor those who have served our country and helped provide for our freedom with a Veterans Day Celebration.

To honor veterans and allow the students to see those who served and gave so much to our country, we will have a Veterans Wall of Honor display in the hall by the library. Please send photos of those family members who have served in the armed forces. Give them to your child’s homeroom teacher or Mrs. Ross in the library and they will be displayed on the wall. Make sure your name is taped/written on the back, along with the name of the veteran you are honoring, and how they are related to the student (i.e. grandfather, father, mother, aunt, etc.). We will return all photos the next week.

Please invite any family member or friend who has served in the armed forces to attend our annual Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 13th. Again, the celebration begins with Mass in the church at 8:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the library.

Coffee with Dr. Shamas

Please join Dr. Shamas in the library after Mass, 9:30am for a grade level coffee with the principal. We will visit about what to expect for the school year.
