Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,

give thanks in all circumstances

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families,

We had an amazing week on campus as we celebrated Vocation Awareness Week. A special thank you to Mr. Rider for his thoughtful planning and coordination of this weeks activities. We are incredibly grateful to Sister John Paul and Sister Elizabeth Marie from Frassati Catholic High School for sharing their vocation of consecrated life. Our students also had the privilege of hearing from Deacon Clancy and Mr. Wells, who spoke about their vocations. Additionally,

Mrs. Tavares and Mr. Chambers provided meaningful insights into the vocation of marriage.

As we look ahead, we ask for your prayers for our 5th-grade students as they embark on their trip to Camp Kappe next week. It will be a wonderful opportunity for them to experience faith and fellowship in a unique setting.

Next Wednesday, we will gather for our annual Veterans Day celebration. We are honored to welcome our veterans to join us for Mass, followed by a special reception in the library to show our gratitude for their service. We hope to see many of our community members there to celebrate and give thanks.

Lastly, please note that progress reports will be sent out on Friday, November 15th. We encourage you to review these reports and discuss them with your child as part of our shared commitment to their growth and learning.

Wishing you a blessed and restful weekend!

Sincerely in Christ,

Kendall Shamas, Ed. D

Veterans Day 2024 - Wall of Honor

Turn in pictures for Wall of Honor by Monday, November 11

Veterans Day 2024!!

The students of St. Anne will be celebrating Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 13th, at the school Mass at 8:30 am. We would like to honor those who have served our country and helped provide for our freedom with a Veterans Day Celebration.

To honor veterans and allow the students to see those who served and gave so much to our country, we will have a Veterans Wall of Honor display in the hall by the library. Please send photos of those family members who have served in the armed forces. Give them to your child’s homeroom teacher or Mrs. Ross in the library and they will be displayed on the wall. Make sure your name is taped/written on the back, along with the name of the veteran you are honoring, and how they are related to the student (i.e. grandfather, father, mother, aunt, etc.). We will return all photos the next week.

Please invite any family member or friend who has served in the armed forces to attend our annual Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 13th. Again, the celebration begins with Mass in the church at 8:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the library.

During the month of November, the 5th grade class has been scheduled to help "Fill the Fridge" for our wonderful teachers and staff. The attached flyer has examples of snacks and drinks, but any items you would like to contribute would be greatly appreciated.

Please bring donations to the front office from now until the end of the month. You can also order on Amazon and have them delivered to the school if it is easier.

Let's show them how much we appreciate all that they do! Thank you for your support in helping us "Fill the Fridge".
