Veterans Day 2023

St. Anne School celebrates Veterans Day 2023!!

The students of St. Anne will be celebrating all veterans on Wednesday, November 8^th, at the school Mass at 8:30 am. We would like to honor those who have served our country and helped provide for our freedom with a Veteran’s Day Celebration.

To honor veterans and allow the students to see those who served and gave so much to our country, we will have a Veteran’s Wall of Honor display in the hall by the library. We ask that you send your photos of those family members who have served in the armed forces. Give them to your homeroom teacher or Mrs. Ross in the library and they will be displayed on the wall. Make sure your name is taped onto the back, along with the name of the person you are honoring, and how they are related to the student (i.e. grandfather, father, mother, aunt, etc.).

Please invite any family member or friend who has served in the armed forces to attend our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. The celebration begins with Mass in the church at 8:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the library.

Advent by Candlelight is an annual event catered toward the women of our St. Anne Catholic Community. It is an elegant evening created to celebrate our roles as Women of Faith, Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters, Aunts, Daughters, Teachers, Friends and Caretakers of our communities. Many of us wear more than one of these hats and often forget these roles are not just duties we perform, but are acts of love and service to God that can only be achieved through His grace. These roles, this VOCATION we have answered YES to, can often leave us feeling overstretched, drained or scattered. Let us utilize this most blessed Season of Advent to prepare our hearts and recenter our minds on the gift of womanhood. Join us for this beautiful night of faith, fellowship, gratitude and reflection as we honor women, past, present and future who choose to live this vocation with Grace.

CMG Safe Haven Training and Background Check

Required – CMG Safe Haven Training and Background Check

We are so excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, and we are thankful for everyone who volunteers their time and talents to St. Anne Catholic School. The students, teachers and parents really appreciate all the hard work that is put into making all our events a success.

All volunteers and staff must be CMG Safe Haven trained to work with children within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Please plan time to take the online, self-paced, Safe Environment Course (CMG Connect). This course certification is entirely free, online, easy to complete, and valid for five years.

Click on the link below to register. You will not need to print the certificate since all your training completion dates are retained in the system. If you have any questions or need some assistance, please email Elizabeth Dailey in the school office.

You will be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the registration process.
