January Saintly Service

This month, we honor St. Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as "The Little Flower." She is renowned for her "Little Way" of spiritual simplicity and devotion to doing small, ordinary acts with great love for God. In Catholic schools, her qualities can inspire students, teachers, and staff to approach their daily tasks carefully and intentionally.

Vote HERE by Tomorrow, Jan. 15th!

Embodying the charism of St. Therese in your school may look like this:

  • Focuses on doing their best on all tasks, big and small
  • Recognizes value in even the smallest of tasks–tidying a classroom to teaching a lesson
  • Prepares lessons with care
  • Contributes to a positive school atmosphere
  • Trusts that God is working through them for good
  • Contributes to the Common Good
  • Diligence in daily duties; often offers them in prayer
  • Sees challenges as opportunities to grow
  • Shows great gratitude for things big and especially small
  • Encourages and inspires those around them
  • Exhibits trust in God and shares that trust with others
  • Takes small opportunities to make a big difference through a smile, kind word of encouragement, hug, or note.
