Travel News
Morocco has been deemed one of the safest countries in the world from a security risk point of view, alongside the United Kingdom according to a risk map compiled by security and health risk services company International SOS, as reported by The Independent.
Morocco emerges as Africa's top travel powerhouse outshining Egypt with record-breaking tourism revenue growth, as reported by travelandtourworld.com. This, alongside major sporting events, will benefit the Moroccan economy and infrastructure following the devastation of the earthquake in 2023. Our guests will also benefit from flights from these extra airports. But don't worry, we believe Taroudant will remain a road less travelled and keep its laid-back charm.
Did you know that Aviation causes around 2.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. But we do not perhaps feel the same guilt when we walk into a new building, even though global concrete manufacture emits closer to 8% (info sourced from The Conversation, which, by the way, we find an excellent source of academically researched articles). As with Jilani's group this spring, we do encourage guests to travel overland. Visit our website for more information about this and more at Sustainable & Responsible Tourism.
Why fly to Agadir? Agadir is both our nearest airport and our favourite, being small and efficient and under an hour's drive by a quiet road to Taroudant.
Don't forget to take advantage of the easyJet Big Orange Sale: up to 20% off last-minute flights available between 06.01.25 – 14.12.25. Follow this link to easyJet Flight sale
