That Art Place

Feb 27th at 6 pm

Make your very own faceted mug out of wet clay! Learn how to build with slabs, add texture, and smooth clay in this beginner workshop. All instruction, tools, clay, glazes, and kiln firing included.

Ages 13+ only

Pre-registration required

After the workshop the pieces will remain at the studio for 3 weeks to be bisque fired, glazed with your choice of glaze, and then kiln-fired a final time. We will send a text when they are ready for pick up. Once fired they will be ready to enjoy your favorite beverage.

Let your child experience the magic of the pottery wheel! In this hands-on workshop, kids will learn the basics of wheel throwing and create their very own bowl. Our instructor will guide them step-by-step in a fun, encouraging environment. Working with clay builds creativity, focus, and fine motor skills. All materials and firing included

This workshop will cover the techniques and methods of throwing a all-in-one chip and dip bowl on the pottery wheel. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step.

Previous wheel experience or prior class attendance is recommended but not required. Creating a chip and dip bowl is a great next step if you have taken a previous beginner class. Our “Try the Wheel” classes are best for your first time on the pottery wheel.

Limit 6 students

Ages 13+ only

Class fee includes small group instruction, clay, glazes, and 1 finished pottery piece. Pieces will remain at the studio to dry, get fired in the kiln, and glazed. They will be ready for pick up approximately 3 weeks from the last date of class.

Pre-registration for this class is required. No refunds or rescheduling of wheel classes due to small class size and limited availability.

At Wheels, Sunday afternoons are for family fun!

This public skating session is geared to younger or beginner skaters and their families!

Our full cafe menu is available so come hungry.

Purchase tickets online in advance at discounted rate. Full price at the door until occupancy is reached. As always, everyone needs a ticket to enter except children 3 and under. Children 15 & under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult 21+
