This FREE family-friendly event invites visitors to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Old West through live music, chuckwagon cooking, western-themed vendors, demonstrations, and interactive activities. From cowboy culture to hometown hospitality, Legends on the Chisholm Trail brings history to life while creating a memorable day of fun for all ages.

That Art Place

Saturday, May 9th - 5:30 pm

Have you always wanted to try throwing clay on a pottery wheel? This is the perfect chance to learn the basics and take home your very own hand-thrown bowl. Class fee includes an hour and a half of small group hands-on instruction, clay, glazes, and kiln firing for 1 finished piece.

Please wear long hair tied back and nails short.

Pieces will remain at the studio to dry slowly, be fired in our kilns, and be glazed. Pieces should be ready for pick up approximately 3 weeks from the date of the class

Create this lovely 9x9 Fused Glass Water Lilies project at That Art Place! Choose your colors and design your own tranquil glass scene as our instructor guides you step-by-step. No prior glass experience is needed, and all supplies are included.

Pre-registration is required to reserve your seat. Your finished piece will stay at the studio to be kiln-fired and will be ready for pickup in about 7 days. Come relax, create, and bring home something beautiful!
