Tips for the Trade
|
Fry your egg in 1-2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Heat oil until hot. Crack egg into skillet, and season with salt & pepper. Oil should be bubbling up around the whites. Rotate skillet occasionally until egg whites are are golden brown and crisp at the edges. About 2 minutes.

- 1/4 cup VS Blood Orange Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp VS Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 & 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, unbleached
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp VS Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
- 1 & 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
- Chop walnuts into small pieces, if desired, you can toast them in a dry skillet over low heat for about 15 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the 2 eggs, orange juice, Blood Orange Olive Oil, and Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar together.
- Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry and stir until combined and moist. The batter should be a little lumpy. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts. Cook waffles according to your waffle iron directions.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream if desired, and garnish with orange slices. Drizzle the Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar directly over the waffles.

Mommy's Time Out
Moscato
We all know that being a Mommy is a difficult job. A Mommy's Time Out is a well deserved break. These wines are delicate and fruity. They come from some of the finest vineyards in Italy where the best grapes are vinified, resulting in a long lasting finish. They are a great complement to food, or may be served as an aperitif.

Blueberry Mimosa Sangria
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1½cups orange juice
- 1cup peach Schnapps
- 1 bottle Mommy's Time Out Moscato
Directions:
Place the blueberries, orange juice and schnapps in a large pitcher and allow to chill overnight (or at least 4 hours).
While stirring, pour the entire bottle of Mommy's Time Out Moscato into the pitcher. The bubbles will flatten over time.
Fill your glasses with ice and pour sangria on top, allowing the blueberries to fall into the glass. Cheers!
