Sweet As Honey Apple Festival

Join Young JewishColumbus as we help Wexner Heritage Village for their first-ever Sweet as Honey Apple Festival!


There are many different ways you can volunteer. Volunteers are needed for setup, teardown, and general volunteering. Volunteering starts at 9:00 am and finishes at teardown around 2:30 pm. However, you can come and go as you choose!

Please join the Wexner Heritage Village for an intergenerational event at Creekside as they begin the High Holiday celebrations with an Apple Festival!


Bring a bag of non-perishable food for a food pantry donation as an entry fee. Raffle tickets will be sold starting at 1$ for 5 tickets. Kosher foods, Kona Ice Truck, Dunk Tank, games, honey, apples and more.


This event is truly a community event with partners with WSC, JCC, YJC and more.

Gramercy Books Owner Linda Kass Launches Third Historical Novel, Bessie!

Join Gramercy Books owner Linda Kass for her Columbus book launch of Bessie, an intimate fictional portrait of the early life of Bess Myerson, the daughter of poor Russian Jewish immigrants who, in the bigoted milieu of 1945, remarkable rises to become Miss America. Washington Conference 2024

Together we work to ensure our communities have access to education and health services and ensure that all of our people, including Holocaust survivors, people living with disabilities and our future generations, receive the services they need.


Participants will:

  • Work towards learning how to address the rise in antisemitism and anti-Israel bias, safeguard our local communities and care for and educate those in need.
  • Become experts in advancing key legislation that impacts the Jewish community and feels empowered to activate personal networks and local community organizations to advance Jewish communal policy priorities.
  • Strengthen personal and professional networks and relationships with top government and civic leaders.
