Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees
We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...
Jocina H: Jocina is one our newer Angels, having started in June 2022. Jocina is an accomplished home health aide who is caring and self-assured. Clients have remarked how much they enjoy having her there with them; one client even doubled their hours since Jocina started the case. Her family background is in nursing and home care, so she obviously had a great foundation of passion and compassion for the career of caregiving. She is continually thinking about clients and their needs, communicating with the office about any changes in their health or demeanor so we can fully assess their needs. Our clients have had glowing reviews about Jocina, her youthful spirit and energy being a wonderful example and motivation for our clients.
Josephine V: Josephine is one of our long-time, loyal, live-in caregivers, having been with Visiting Angels intermittently since September 2014. Josephine has demonstrated patience, dedication, and hard work through the years. Our clientsâ comments have been extremely positive, having described her as âamazing, deserves sainthood, a true angel, sweet, amazing, engaging, and terrific!â Josephine understands the importance of completing and promptly submitting paperwork which follows the progress of each clientâthis is especially important for our live-in clients. Her astute observations have alerted clients of potential issues before they become worse, allowing them to stay comfortably at home longer. Josephine embodies all that we have come to expect from a Visiting Angels caregiver!
We appreciate and thank you, Jocina and Josephine!

Senior Humor
THE PET
An older man, living alone, decided he wanted to add a pet companion to his life.
After thinking long and hard about the decision, he buys a parrot and brings it home.
The parrot almost immediately starts insulting the older man and gets really rude.
In a moment of frustration, the man picks up the parrot and tosses it into the freezer to teach it a lesson.
But when the bird stops squawking, the man panics and opens the freezer.
The parrot walks out, looks up at the man, and says, âI apologize for offending you, and I humbly ask your forgiveness.â
The man replies, âWell, thank you. I forgive you, and Iâm sorry too.â
The parrot then says, âIf you donât mind my asking...what did the chicken do?â
