Don't Miss the Auction Deadline!

This year's online auction will end at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 6!

Cick here for the online auction and access to a number of great items - including trips, activities, restaurant gift certificates and more!
Just one of the amazing trips on this year's auction!  The Taste of Tuscany trip includes a 7-night stay in a private, 2-bedroom villa for up to 4 people in Cortona, Italy.  The birthplace of the Italian renaissance, Cortona offers world-class art, culinary delights and spectacular views.  During your Tuscan holiday, you'll enjoy a private cooking class and dinner, tours and tastings at two wineries, a private driver, breakfast prepared daily by a private chef, and so much more!
At YouthZone, we believe healthy communities begin with healthy kids doing good things!  The YouthZone Ascent encourages young people to connect with their community in an engaging manner that provides value to both the youth and those on the receiving end of the volunteer efforts.

The second annual YouthZone Ascent features five teams of teens who are participating in community service projects throughout the Roaring Fork and Grand River Valleys.  We're excited about the projects they've chosen to take part in, and we hope you'll support YouthZone by making a donation to YouthZone on behalf of your favorite team below!

Here are This Year's Teams:
Team Aspen

The Cool Guys
are working with the Independence Pass Foundation and Forest Service to remove more than 150 pounds of rebar from the top of Independence Pass.
Team Carbondale

The Demons  assisted in the execution of a full-day music festival, The Spring Creek Uprising, on Saturday, September 9 to benefit YouthZone.

They are also providing haircuts for homeless in the area.

Team Glenwood Springs

Scouts for Heroes  assisted Building Homes for Heroes on September 16, as the organization presented a new home they've built in Glenwood Springs to USMC Veteran Sgt. Kirstie Ennis.  Sgt. Ennis was injured in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.  The Scouts are helped assemble and install many American flags throughout the Ironbridge subdivision and participated in the parade and welcome ceremony for Sgt. Ennis.

Team New Castle

Teen Titans are working on designing new office space at the old library building for YouthZone. They're putting together design boards and Pinterest pages with ideas and are creating a short video for donors and the community to help explain why it's important that YouthZone continue to be a safe place for kids and their families.  In addition, they're drafting letters to HGTV and Habitat for Humanity to ask for help with the office project.
Team Rifle

Art for Youth created a beautiful mural this summer in front of the Kum 'n Go in Rifle.  "Back in My Day" explores generation gaps and the animosity that can exist between generations.
