2020 Strong, Smart, and Bold Corporate Champion for Girls Award: Deloitte
We are delighted to honor Deloitte with the 2020 Corporate Champion for Girls Award. Over the past twenty years, Deloitte professionals have invested in the girls, families and staff of Girls Inc. through career exploration workshops, read-a-thons, book drives and professional development workshops. Program Spotlight: Virtual Summer Camps
Young Women in Construction

The Young Women in Construction camp will be held virtually from July 6- August 14 for girls age 12- 14. This camp provides girls with an incentivized opportunity to gain hands-on experience in different trades in construction. The camp includes professional mentoring, skill development and introduction to apprenticeship programs and scholarship opportunities.
STEAM Camp

STEAM Camp will be held virtually from June 22- 26 for girls in 4th- 6th grade. Girls will participate in hands-on, minds-on activities exploring the world of archaeology and paleontology through the lens of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. The camp incorporates professional mentoring, career exploration, academic enrichment and personal development.
Early Grade Literacy Camp

EGL Camp will be held virtually from July 6- August 7 for students grades k- 3. The camp is designed to address literacy-based needs and prevent summer backslide by providing virtual one-on-one and small group instruction. Daily activities will integrate literacy with science, art and technology. Each day of camp will focus on a new theme, including Under the Sea, Around the World, and Superheroes!

Eureka!

Eureka! Camp will be held virtually from July 6- 31 for Eureka! participants grades 8- 9. The camp will be led by Girls Inc. staff, university and career exploration partners and trained volunteers. Girls will participate in virtual programming in STEM, sport/ health & wellness and personal development. This year, girls will experience the same collegiate facilitation in a new, digital style!

Thank you to everyone who engaged with us during Girls Inc. Week! A large part of being civically engaged is being a leader in your community. Hear from some of our girls about how they lead in their lives!

Today - Tuesday, May 26 - is the last day to register to vote by mail for the 2020 Primary in Pennsylvania! If you plan to use a mail-in ballot to vote in the Primary election on June 2, submit the ballot request application by tonight at 5 p.m.
