A Wells Fargo Grant for Habitat
Thank you to Wells Fargo for selecting Habitat for Humanity of Denton County to receive a $35,000 grant through their Social Impact and Sustainability program of Fort Worth! This funding will go toward supporting our mission, as we seek to put God's love into action and bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Generous supporters like Wells Fargo make it possible for us to partner with families in need to build decent, affordable housing in Denton County!
We are so excited to partner with Kendra Scott's new Highland Village location on a "Kendra Gives Back" event, taking place both in-store and online. Habitat for Humanity of Denton County will receive 20% of the proceeds of each purchase made on November 19 from 4PM - 7PM, but make sure you mention Habitat Denton at checkout in-store or use the code at checkout online!

Not able to shop in person? You can participate in this by shopping ONLINE at kendrascott.com using a to-be-announced GIVEBACK code during this event on November 19 from 4PM - 7PM!
Miller Family Closing
Congratulations to Carla Miller and her family for officially closing on their house on October 28! We are so happy for the Miller family now that this Habitat house is officially theirs!

A huge thank you to Cross Timbers Rotary Club for their generosity in sponsoring this build and for their passion in caring for this project and the Miller family!

T-shirt Design Contest
We're having a T-shirt design contest!

How to participate: Create a design for the front and/or back of a T-shirt, using three colors at most, and inspired by a theme related to Habitat for Humanity. The winning design will be featured on a Habitat T-shirt sold in our T-shirt fundraiser this December!

This contest will run for two weeks from 10/26 - 11/6. The winner will be selected by popular vote from the Habitat Denton staff and announced the week of 11/9. Anyone and everyone is eligible to participate, so spread the word and get creative!

Please submit your designs in PDF, PNG, or JPG format by email to annie.folse@hfhdentoncounty.org by November 6 at 5pm.
Happy Halloween from all of us at Habitat Denton!
