Reporting Deadlines

Data Quality Plan Training is Coming Soon!

The introduction and training for the Data Quality Plan will soon be underway!

Join us at the System Updates Meeting on May 9th for the introduction of the Data Quality Plan and May 17th for the Monthly HMIS Training: Data Quality Plan Launch. We will cover why we are implementing this report, how to run it, how to read & correct errors, and how to submit the report. This is a natural progression from establishing Data Quality standards by Project Type in 2021 and clean-up surrounding HUD reporting seasons. This DQ monitoring plan is a constructive way to reduce those reporting burdens on your agency by asking for data check-ups to the Data Center and CoCs multiple times a year. We'll use an updated version of the D003 - Client Detail Clean-Up report that many of you submitted for End of year corrections in October of last year.

The Data Center will soon release guides and conduct trainings to help you prepare for June's submission.

Please refer back to the HMIS User Training Archive for March's training on how to monitor your Agency's data year-round. (You should still run reports at least monthly to review data!)

HMIS@NCCEH System Changes

New users: HMIS Practice Site Flash

Twice a year, we make a copy of the live site to update the Training Site. This means that fake client profiles that are erased and reset on June 1st.

Current trainees will not be impacted as they will complete training before the flash.

Any new users who submit their license request in the first week of May will need to finalize their test clients by the 19th as this will allow enough time for cases to be reviewed & any edits to be made and finalized by the 31st

Agency Admins should review your monthly meeting on the second Tuesday to stay on top of all things HMIS. This is your Agency's monthly HMIS meeting to get updates, escalate problems, and give feedback.
