You Are Invited to the Ordination and Installation of Brianne Christiansen
|
The joyous day has come! God called me to full-time ministry in 6th grade, and now it's finally time to commit to life-long service in the church! Glacier Presbytery is ordaining me to the validated ministry of Spiritual Care Director at The Village Senior Residence in Missoula, MT.
Ordination is about saying yes to God's specific call in my life, but we are all called to follow God together through various kinds of service. Thus, it's important to me to make this commitment in the context of the larger body of Christ.
So I invite you all to join me in celebrating!
The ordination service will be on November 7, 2021, at 2:30 pm (Mountain Time) at First Presbyterian Church in Missoula, MT. It will be live-streamed on the "FPC Missoula" youtube channel Here.
Thank you all for celebrating God's work in my life, and for blessing me by walking with me in this journey we call faith!

Disaster Assistance Needed
|
The Disaster Assistance Center at Ferncliff is in need of volunteers ASAP to help us sort and inspect relief kits. We have thousands of hygiene and school kits which need to be inspected in order to restock our inventory after a very busy season of hurricane response.
Some of the tasks can be done while seated, but we are in need of groups who can work on their feet and help with moderate lifting. Groups who are able to assist during November will make it possible for us to fulfill any community handout requests we receive from local agencies over the holidays.
