ACTIVATE YOUR PDPs TO BE MATCHED
The transition to a new CLC system continues! We have more than 120 positions ready to find a match to consider for their ministry. There is a numerical issue, of more than 1,000 call seekers that have signed up, less than 200 have completed their PDP fully or haven't activated their PDPs to be matched. Please, check the status of your account and your PDP. It is important that you click YES on the option that activates your PDP.
Self-referrals are also available by going to the Opportunity Search and clicking the Apply button on the MDP that you want to apply for.
The Resources section at the bottom of your dashboard now has the Statistics site so you can view the congregation's statistics before making a decision. Also, at the very bottom of the page click on "CLC FORMS AND GUIDES" so you can access the different guides and support the CLC team has created for Call Seekers, Mid Council Leaders and Calling Organizations. You can also see the Webinar videos there.
JULY 31st END OF OLD SYSTEM'S OPPORTUNITY SEARCH
In July 31st the Opportunity Search page in the old system will be turned off as part of the transition. You won't be able to self refer, but churches can still match with you until August 31st. Click here for the CLC site.

Apply For The 2025 Montreat Production Team
Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Presbyterian Youth Triennium Production Team. This team consists of youth and adults who share a passion for youth ministry and work alongside staff to refine the many layers of Triennium and make this large-scale event happen. Joining the Production Team is an incredible opportunity to serve the church, develop as a leader, form lifelong friendships, problem-solve creatively, laugh and work hard, and deepen your relationship with God. The nature of a lot of the Production Team’s work is inherently behind the scenes, and an ability to be a good listener and work well with others is of great importance.
Applications will be accepted through September 15, 2023. For more information or to fill out an application, click here to visit the Triennium website.

Free Small Church Resources
Teresa J. Stewart is an author, speaker, and teacher whose passion is small congregations. She says that small congregations are not big places in miniature. They work differently. With different challenges and with distinctive strengths not generally available in big settings. At her site, SmallChurch.org, you will find free online resource for small-setting worship and ministry. It includes practical ideas, inspirational sparks, and seasonal plans that actually fit congregations with fewer than 100 folks.
You can also register for these free upcoming webinars she is leading for PRC (Practical Resources for Churches):

Get Your 2023/25 Book of Order |
The 2023-2025 Book of Order is now available and contains some important updates. The answer to the biennial question, “Did enough change to warrant buying a new Book of Order?” The answer this time is “yes.” The Rules for Discipline have been replaced in their entirety with a section called Church Discipline. There are numerous new requirements for inquirers, candidates, CREs, Certified Christian Educators, Associate Christian Educators, and Sessions. New policies are required for all councils (session, presbytery, synod, and General Assembly) of the church which you will want to be aware of and informed about.
You can order a copy of the 2023-2025 Book of Order by clicking here. The cost is $10, but there is a discount for ordering in bulk. If you would prefer to downloading it for free, then click here - Downloadable Book of Order 2023-2025.
