"On The Road" at Westminster/Hot Springs
|
The next stop on the Presbytery's road trip will be Westminster Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs on Thursday, September 15, where we will gather in person from 11:30am to 2:00pm with church pastors, CREs, and church professionals as well as Clerks of Session and other Ruling Elders for a time of connecting and sharing information. We would eventually like to have at least one representative from every church attend one of these events as we travel around to different geographical areas of the state over the next few months. We are targeting churches in the southwest quarter of the state, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Click here to register for this event. Direct questions to Julie Price, Presbytery Connector.

On a recent Presbytery survey response, it was pointed out that some of the best ideas come from YOU! So we want to start sharing some great ideas happening Around The Presbytery both here and in our Facebook group, Presbyark Connect.
Supported by our Future of the Church grants, Central Presbyterian Pine Bluff held the first of three community events, a Back to School Backpack party! Members of the congregation welcomed children in the community to a festival of sno-cones, hot dogs, water slides and as the children left gave each child a backpack, packed full of school supplies! They had good printed materials to share to invite everyone to other church happenings.
If your church is sponsoring some special events, please send us a picture and a short post!
