Holiday Gift Card Drive

This year, as in years past, the Victim Services Division worked cases involving child victims and witnesses of domestic and sexual violence. Many of these children will not get to celebrate the holidays this year due to the financial burden that comes with being a victim of crime. In the true spirit of the season, we ask you to please join us in brightening the holidays for our courageous children by participating in our 8th Annual Holiday Gift Card Drive. Now through Friday, December 18, we are asking for gift card donations for our child victims to big box stores, supermarkets, local restaurants, and clothing stores. Your donations will allow parents and guardians to be active participants in purchasing gifts and practical items for each child that they would normally go without.

You can drop off or mail gifts cards to:

Saly Fayez
Director, Victim Services Section
12099 Government Center Parkway
Fairfax, Virginia 22035

For more information, please contact:
Saly Fayez at 703-246-2141 or saly.fayez@fairfaxcounty.gov
Canned Food Drive

Eat Flower Child is hosting a canned food drive. Help them reach their goal of 750 cans & drop yours off at the restaurant from now until Thursday Dec 2. All items donated will be given to local food banks.

Drop off location: 1656 Boro Pl, McLean, VA 22102
Coats for Hutchison Kids

In lieu of the Park Authority’s traditional holiday gift drive, Hutchison Elementary School officials are requesting a donation of coats, rather than toys, for families that have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Park Authority is coordinating a drive to make sure these requested coats get to the school. Donate new coats in children’s sizes, as well as adult small and medium sizes, by dropping them off at the Providence or Spring Hill REC Centers.
