Donors respond to Haiti earthquake
PWRDF has announced an initial grant of $25,000 to the ACT Alliance to respond to the enormous impacts of the earthquake in Haiti, the effects of which were made even more serious because of Tropical Storm Grace.
Bangladeshi farmers improve food security and tackle climate change
During 2020 farmers in Bangladesh faced five floods, unseasonable rain and drought that affected standing crops. Many are Nayakrishi farmers who practise biodiversity-based farming and use community knowledge and technology to address climate vulnerabilities.
