Do you have a screen in your sanctuary? Want to move beyond PowerPoint "fill in the blank" outlines? Not sure how - or when - to use a screen during the sermon? In these interactive workshops we will look at the potential and pitfalls of using a screen during worship. Some of what we will cover are
  • Ways to use screens during preaching,
  • Other uses of the screen to enhance worship
  • How to use Microsoft PowerPoint as a worship design tool
  • Where to find images
  • Backgrounds, fonts and themes
  • Opportunities for preachers to develop their own presentation for collaborative brainstorming and feedback

pwlogo Our Spirit's Song, Our Music, Our Faith
Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 9:30am
Covenant Presbyterian Church , Frazier, PA

The Rev. Patty Stoltzfus, recently retired from Parish ministry at Covenant PC where she was Associate Pastor and Director of Music, will take us on a musical journey that the followers of Christ have taken over centuries. We will weave together Scripture, historical tidbits, along with our own song and prayer.

Bring your choir directors, choir members, friends and anyone who enjoys music and worship. We have a wonderful morning planned of a look at the history of music and how it inspires us. Join us for worship, live music and the celebration of the Lord's Supper. We will conclude our morning with fellowship during lunch.

Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church
Elmer, NJ

Pittsgrove PC was founded in 1741 and maintains both its original church built in 1767 and its current church built in 1867, plus two historic cemeteries. We are a family-oriented congregation which welcomes children and adults of all ages. We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth, including Sunday School, Bible and book studies, and retreats.

We reach out to our community through our Gathering for God (a group that collects unused produce from local farmers for distribution to the local soup kitchen and food pantries),  Vacation Bible School, Father/Son and Mother/Daughter dinners, Invite-a-Friend Sunday and so forth.

We are active in missions throughout the year with Habitat for Humanity workdays, the Salem County CROP Walks, our collection crew, and help with the local food pantry, Disciples Pantry. We also offer the congregation tangible opportunities to share Christmas gifts with those in need and special projects with the surrounding community.

Our desire is to grow in faith and in the love of Jesus Christ, while also inviting others to know God's grace, and to share his grace with those who are not as blessed as we are.
