Matthew 25 Church in Donegal Presbytery
Columbia Presbyterian Church &
Hands Across the Street
Recently our denomination instituted a plan called Mathew 25 for congregations that follow the call of "helping the least of these."  Columbia Presbyterian Chruch and Hands Across the Street readily qualified as a designated place where the central work of the church is to provide food, clothing and shelter for the less fortunate.   In fact, CPC and HAS has been doing this for over a decade. Presbyterian Mission is fostering the vision that will bring congregations to a bold focus on Jesus's call to reach out beyond our own flocks to let others know of the love we share through Christ.
Columbia PC is officially a Matthew 25 Church.  Find out how you can become part of the call by going to

They will participate in memorable Bible/learning activities, sing catchy songs, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God's love. Also, students will look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Monies collected will support Middle Octorara's Mission Project in Tamshiyacu, Peru. Adult classes will focus on Life Principles: Growing and Sustaining your life with God by Charles Stanley.
