Cheers for Charity

Thank you to everyone who supported Cheers for Charity on Thursday, February 12!

Thanks to this generosity, we raised over $34,000 for the McLaren Greater Lansing Mobile Clinic Program and our partnership with The Lansing Nest.

We were pleased to have the participation of so many local establishments and appreciated all the creativity and hard work they each put into their cocktails and table displays. Thank you to Cask & Co., Lansing Brewing Company, Lansing Shuffle, One North Kitchen & Bar, Rock Bar at The Graduate, Soup Spoon Café, Twisted Craft Cocktails and The University Club at MSU. Congratulations to our 2026 cocktail winner, Cask & Co. and our best décor winner, Lansing Shuffle.

Thank you to this year's celebrity bartenders, Dr. Brian Cousino, Deb Hart, Grant and Sarah Hendrickson, Bobby Hoffman, John Pence, Arianna Ridderbusch, Megan Viecelli and Deidra Wilson.

Memorial Benches

McLaren Greater Lansing is fortunate to be located next to the campus of Michigan State University. We have an exciting opportunity to create a lasting space of reflection by placing benches at the MSU Horse Farm, located directly across the street from the hospital. The farm sees over 60,000 people each year and is a beautiful place to visit. These benches would be available to the public as well as McLaren Greater Lansing hospital staff, visitors, and patients who can go across the street and enjoy the property. The Karmanos Cancer Institute would like to also bring support groups to the farm, and benches would help with accessibility.

Benches can be named in honor of a loved one. A donation of $1,200 would place one bench at the farm and include recognition on a memorial bench on the campus of McLaren Greater Lansing.

Donations can be made at www.mclarenloveslansing.org/donate or by contacting Rachel at 517-975-7118. We are hoping to cut the ribbon on these benches this Spring. We are asking for a commitment of donation by April 30, 2026.

Donor Spotlight

PNC Bank

PNC Bank has been supporting McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation since 1994! Over this 32-year period, their donations to the Foundation have positively impacted many areas of greatest need at McLaren Greater Lansing through event support, and grant donations thanks to the PNC Foundation and the Grow Up Great initiative. Most recently, they funded books and educational play materials for the Family Medicine Clinic and contributed to the expansion of our Food & Resource Center. This year, they are generously supporting the Mobile Clinic. This helps our Greater Lansing Community by providing access to the highest quality care regardless of transportation or financial barriers.

“McLaren Greater Lansing plays a vital role in the health and well-being of families across our region, and PNC is proud to support an organization that is so deeply rooted in this community. Our long-standing relationship reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to care, strengthening families, and supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference close to home. When we support the McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation, we are investing in the people of Lansing--today, and for generations to come.” - Leslie Batchelor, Vice President, Director of Client and Community Relations.

We always love to see their team at the Jack Breslin Golf Classic and McLaren Loves Lansing each year too.
