McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation is happy to welcome Delta Dental of Michigan as its newest sponsor for the McLaren Mobile Clinic. Delta Dental has offered grant funding to support emerging needs of the mobile clinic. In addition, Delta Dental will collaborate with clinic providers and staff to offer advice, oral health literature, and referral recommendations to help staff better serve patients with oral health issues.  

The mobile clinic offers health screenings, primary care services for patients, support with disease management, referrals to specialists, and more. These services fill a critical void as homeless people have “poor access to health care, leading to delayed care, increased reliance on emergency departments, and higher rates of hospitalization” (NIH.gov). 

McLaren Foundation is proud to continue its tradition of collaborating with generous philanthropic partners, like Delta Dental of Michigan, to enhance health care and oral care in our community.

The Margaret E. McLaren Nursing Scholarship Fund was started by the Foundation to provide educational support to individuals desiring higher education within the nursing profession. We are honored to have these special nurses at McLaren Greater Lansing.

We loved participating in the Levi's Link 10K, 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on May 17.

The event raised $70,000 for the Levi's Link program at McLaren facilities in Port Huron, Lansing, Lapeer, Oxford, Pontiac and Grand Ledge.

Join us for McLaren Loves Lansing at Lansing Brewing Company, Friday, August 21!

This strolling event is fun for everyone and invites you to celebrate all the things to love about McLaren Greater Lansing and the great city that it supports. Guests will enjoy local food options, drinks and desserts, and so much more right in the heart of Lansing!

On Wednesday, May 13, we cut the ribbon on benches at McLaren Greater Lansing and at the Michigan State University Horse Research and Teaching Center. These benches were possible thanks to the generosity of Heat 'N Sweep and The Foglesong Family.

The Foglesongs made a donation in honor of their parents Arnold and Ruth Ann Foglesong. Jennifer Foglesong is grateful for the care her parents received at McLaren Greater Lansing. She recalled her father's patient room overlooking the horse farm at MSU and how the lovely view made his stay more comfortable. "He grew up with horses and enjoyed seeing the horses from his room," she remembered.

We are grateful to Heat 'N Sweep who saw this vision and brought it to life with the donation of the beautiful teak benches that will be lasting spaces for reflection for our patients, their families, employees and members of the Greater Lansing community.
