Stormwater Workshops & a New Focus

The California State Water Resources Control Board has issued a notice of Public Workshops focused on proposed Urban Stormwater Infiltration Water Quality Control policy. To register, submit comments, and for more information related to the two workshops being held on February 3rd & 6th, please view the document linked below.

In other stormwater news, Erica Ryan who is a Water Resource Control Engineer for the Water Board has recently accepted a new role dedicated to working on stormwater capture and reuse in support of the Governor's Water Supply Strategy. Her work will be multi-faceted working with municipalities, water suppliers, and industry to identify opportunities for stormwater capture and reuse. This is an awesome opportunity for our industry to share where we can be so much more efficient by capturing stormwater to support our water supply.
