Meditation, Contemplation
and Still Life

February 14 - March 17
Opening Reception Sun, Feb. 17

Spotlight Artist:  John R. Iarussi

The post-holiday winter is a dark, quiet time, a gift of space in which to look inward and outward with more deliberation and stillness.  For our first exhibit of this new year, we will display the creative products of our meditations, contemplations and stillnesses.  What will your expression be?

Our Spotlight Artist, KAA member John R. Iarussi, whose sample images appear here, has been an artist since very early childhood.  Read about his journey here: Spotlight Artist bio

Artist Drop-off:  Monday, Feb. 11, 4-6pm
Artist Pick-up:    Monday, Mar. 18, 4-6pm
And after that:

Eccentricity

March 21 - April 28
Opening Reception Sun, March 24

That should be a fun one, don'tcha think?
Let your eccentricity shine!

We are so pleased to announce that our Spotlight Wall will contain a selection of the artwork of our esteemed Tim Beavis, who passed away recently.  The KAA is honored to have this opportunity to honor his legacy by exhibiting the fine work of our fellow member artist and friend.

Artist Drop-off:  Monday, March 18, 4-6pm
Artist Pick-up:    Monday, Monday, April 29, 4-6pm

Beyond Our Walls

The Kittery Art Association's mission is to "promote knowledge of the arts, stimulated interest in the work of local artists and express appreciation for the abundant creativity in the seacoast area."

We're not limiting that to the walls of our beloved gallery.  In 2019, we are nourishing current and new partnerships with local businesses and institutions to give our member artists more ways to live out our mission in and around our community.

If you are interested in exhibiting at these venues:
