"En Plein Air"
All-Member Show
October 12 - November 5
The En Plein Air exhibit is up and showing in the KAA Gallery for all to enjoy, and it's so phenomenal that Mother Nature herself even showed up to check it out; she even blew out all the power just so she could have the place all to herself!
Come and experience the Seacoast as seen through the eyes of our plein air artists--it really is a sight to behold.

Our Spotligh
t Wall artist, Will Brewster, has this to say about being "put on the spot!": I was quite surprised to be asked to take the Spotlight Wall for this
exhibit. Although I am from a family that has included professional artists, I never picked up a pencil learning to draw until the fall of 2005. Two years later, I took up watercolor. Whatever success I have had is due in large part to the patience and encouragement of my teachers: Carol M
orley for drawing, DeWitt Hardy and Dustan Knight for watercolor.
To date, I have concentrated on landscapes especially those including some architecture. In time, I hope to include interiors and figures. Art has taught me to look at what is right in front of me, to look and really see. It also has taught me that good drawing is essential to the final rendering of a scene in any medium. Art absorbs my attention and provides space away from the busyness of the world. ~William Brewster
