The KAA Gallery is currently closed to Exhibits
December 19, 2017, through February 15, 2018
The KAA building will remain open for all regularly scheduled meetings and activities, i.e., Monday Figure Drawing, Seacoast Moderns meeting, etc., unless otherwise notified.
The Gallery will once again re-open for the 2018 Exhibit Season on Thursday, February 15, 2018, for our first Show of the new year, "Comforts of Home" with Spotlight Wall Artist Maryhop Brandon.

Volunteers Needed to Help Keep KAA Clean!
Clean Up Day #1: Saturday, January 13th, at 9 AM
Clean Up Day #2: Sunday, January 14th, at 9 AM
Clean Up Day #3: Sunday, January 21st, at 9 AM (if needed)
We're looking for volunteers to help us do some
basic building clean up and refreshing of the gallery for our
60th Year season!
Washing walls, filling holes, sanding and painting walls along with cleaning out the basement are the goal...it's another form of KAA partying!
Join the fun: refreshments, friends new and old, camaraderie.

Calling all KAA Members who like to "walk on the wild side," to submit images for our March Exhibit, "On the Wild Side".
We would like to use an image for our postcards, posters, Doodles, website and FB Page, where you will get credit for your image that represents the theme for this exhibit if chosen.
Deadline for image submissions is January 15, 2018.

Most of my life has been involved with music- playing, teaching, conducting- always interpreting. Recently, I traded my baton for a paint brush; now, I try to interpret what I see. Whether in the studio or en plein air, one is challenged with color, value, composition, etc. I enjoy painting with oil and watercolor and have had the opportunity to study with fine teachers in each medium." ~Dianne Dean

Mondays 10 am to 1 pm
Cost remains at an affordable $10, or if too few people, fee is split among artists.
Please bring your choice of medium. Bring an easel if you need one. Chairs and drop cloths are provided.

KAA membership cards include a 20% discount at two local framing shops, D. Pratt Framer, LLC in Kittery, ME, and C.C. Moore Fine Art Framing in Portsmouth, N.H. What a deal!
When you receive a mailing from KAA, check the mailing address. Your membership is current through the indicated calendar year. So, if the address includes "#2018" then you are current through December 2018.

The Kittery Art Association, a charitable organization incorporated by the state of Maine, sponsors a variety of public events in support of local artists and writers of all ages.
Membership is $35 and expires each January.
Membership applications are available on our website, or feel free to pick one up at the KAA Gallery located at 8 Coleman Ave., Kittery Point, ME. We look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for supporting the Arts!
