Supporting Literacy in Door County
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
If your family, or you know of a family that is in need, please reach out to Rebecca for assistance. Housing, utilities, infant needs (diapers, wipes, etc),
FREE and CONFIDENTIAL support for ANY Door County family raising children in Door County or an individual enrolled in K-12 schooling whom has not yet graduated. A Community Connector is a parent peer who has experienced challenges of their own, received Door County services and has learned how to advocate for their family.
Contact Rebecca Nicholson for assistance and support regarding the following:
  • Rent, utility, food assistance
  • Infant / toddler basic needs
  • Children's mental health / disability support
  • Vehicle repair and purchase assistance
  • Anything else related to raising a family

The Partnership quarterly meeting is open to any Door County parent / community member. You are especially encouraged to attend our quarterly Partnership meetings to hear what the Partnership has been working on. This program is family-centered and it can be very helpful to get feedback from community members so please be sure to share any feedback or suggestions you may have, we want to hear your voice!
