Newton Out Doors Installation
We are excited to announce that our first public art initiative has been installed! The Newton Out Doors public art project has populated our village centers with 21 doors from regional and local artists and 4 doors from student winners from Newton North and Newton South. See here for a list of all pieces, artists and locations.

This public art project could not have been possible without the support of the Massachusetts Cultural Council,  Newton Cultural CouncilThe Village Bank, and of course, the talented crew from DPW for their assistance with the installation!

Drive-In and Family Fun Day
Over 50 cars joined us for our May 15 Drive-In Movie Event of Spy Kids at the Aquinas Parking Lot in Nonantum. The evening was filled with pre-ordered food from Better Life Food, a special goodie bag for all cars, and great entertainment. Thank you to our presenting sponsor The Village Bank for their support and for volunteering at the event.
We were also thrilled to have sponsored three Family Fun Day events Newton Cultural Development organized earlier in the day. It was a wonderful day with our community as families were delighted by a puppet show, drum circle and author event.
There is still time to DONATE to Newton Community Pride’s Annual Appeal to support more arts & culture, beautification, and service in Newton this summer and fall.
Help us continue our mission and show your Newton community pride with a donation of $50 or more (any amount will be truly appreciated). Thank you!

Sponsor Spotlight: Todd Drickel, Wegmans
Hi, my name is Todd Drickel and I am the General Manager of Wegmans in Chestnut Hill Square. I first became involved with Newton Community Pride a few years ago donating food for the local food pantries at NCP's sponsored Mayor's New Year's Open House and donating pumpkins to the fall Harvest Festival. Over time our relationship has grown as I've seen the impact that NCP has on our local community.

Supporting NCP financially at a significant level to connect residents through quality arts, culture and community programming is compatible with our corporate giving philosophy as well. As your local grocery store, Wegmans prides itself on being a good neighbor. We love being a part of Newton and one of Newton Community Pride's corporate sponsors.

Supporting the work of Newton Community Pride with a financial contribution as well as quality food products helps us build relationships with our shoppers and give back to our community.
Thank You to our 2021 Sponsors!
