South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster ordered the mandatory evacuation of Beaufort county effective tomorrow, Monday, September 2 at 12 p.m. The Governor's announcement is available here.
The National Hurricane Center latest advisory indicates that Hurricane Dorian is moving west at 5 miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 185 miles per hour.
Update on Sea Pines CSA Operations:
Sea Pines CSA Administration office is closed and will remain closed until further notice.
All CSA events and meetings scheduled for this week are cancelled.
Sea Pines ARB office is closed and will remain closed until further notice.
Sea Pines CSA Welcome Center Pass Office will close tonight at 11 PM and remain
closed until further notice.
We have lowered our lagoons in anticipation of possible significant rainfall amounts.
Trolley service has been suspended.
Sea Pines CSA will do our best to keep you updated via our communication resources to the extent that these services are available. Communications from Sea Pines CSA should be secondary to the messages passed from government officials via local TV, radio and emergency management websites.
