2022 WSCGA JGF High School Invitational Champions

Dorman High School

The 2022 WSCGA JGF High School Invitational was played at CC of South Carolina with two days of perfect weather.  Dorman High School finished first with a team total of 648 to win by 8 strokes. The team was led by Abby Franks who fired a 70-75=145 and finished Runner up in the Individual standings to Ella Stalvey from Blythewood HS. Maddie Grace Peake finished T14th with a 79-77=156 for the tournament with teammates Londyn Rath (159), Ann Claire Peake (94), and Ava Romansky (94).

Chapin finished in 2nd place this year at the WSCGA-JGF High School Invitational. Chapin was led by Lilly Reed Black who fired a two-day total of 148. Mia Andrade fired a 162, Reagan Haggard 166, Catalina Fresno 88, and Sadie Licata 92.

Finishing 3rd today was T L Hanna High School shooting 333-346=679. Ivy Schulze led with a two 74's  with a two day total of 148. Helping T L Hanna High School to third place was Marissa Scaletta, Anaston Bell, and Serra Erlenkeuser.

In 4th Place for the tournament was the team of Seneca. Seneca was lead by Ansley Bryson posting two day total 158. Also representing Seneca was Mattie

Padgett and sister duo Skylar Martin and Hazel Martin.

Finishing 5th for the weekend was Carolina Forest High School with a total of 687. Leading Carolina Forest was Mia Gray with a total of 75-76=151. Finishing out the team was Savanah Sansom, Gracelyn Toler, and Lexi Wohlers. 

The all tournament team for the Invitational was awarded to the top 6 overall individual players. The top 6 finishers were Medalist Ella Stalvey from Blythewood High School who was the only player to finish even par 144. Joining Ella on the all tournament team are: Abby Franks ( Dorman HS - 145), Lilly Reed Black (Chapin HS - 148), Ivy Schulze (T L Hanna HS - 148), Caroline Hawkins (Blythewood HS 150), Mia Gray (Carolina Forest HS - 151) and Claire Green (May River HS -151).

The staff and volunteers at the Country Club of South Carolina and the WSCGA Junior Golf Foundation went above and beyond to make this event happen! The future of women's golf is bright!
