Dear Friends,
Last month my sister and I flew up to NY to participate in an event sponsored by the Rivertown Film Society called Inspired.
In my invitation to participate, Ms. Peacock said "just as your mother was a trailblazing artist - you will be pioneering a new way to show the audience what inspired your mother"
One of their most popular and successful events, it highlights 15 artists from a variety of mediums and what inspires them to create. (See below)
This year Inspired was held on April 21, 2023 at the Nyack Center in Nyack NY. Although they have never had a posthumous presentation - they invited us to participate and represent our mother at this event. The presentation was VERY SHORT - less than four minutes. It was a fast-paced presentation where the artist (my sister and I) talked over 10 slides that we submitted in advance that represent the inspirations of our mother's work.
