To help empower members to act consistent with the settlement, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has developed two new resources that provide clarity on what is—and is not—permissible under the proposed settlement.

These resources help to define the responsibilities and limitations for real estate agents by outlining the "dos” and "don'ts" of supporting homebuyers and home sellers during the transaction process.

Amid slower home sales, inventory has continued to grow across the country. While monthly existing-home sales were lower than expected this period, NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun believes that the rise in inventory, along with lower mortgage rates, should help sales improve in the months ahead.
