J uly 1, 2020 Dear Dosberg Manor Family Members and Responsible Parties, I’m pleased to share that the Department of Health performed COVID-19 testing onsite today for our residents.This is part of New York State's plan to test assisted living residents. It is possible that we may identify cases in individuals who are not showing symptoms. We currently do not have any residents onsite with symptoms of COVID-19 and have not had any known cases of the virus in residents in some time. Although we are unsure of the exact timing of when we will receive results, we will keep you updated. If your family member or loved one tests positive, we will contact you right away and answer your questions about the protocols we have in place. We also update our reports of cases by noon daily on our   family web page  (username: family; password: weinberg321). Rest assured that the health and well-being of your loved one remains our top priority and we continue to follow strict infection control practices and the required visitor restrictions mandated by the Department of Health.   July 4th Festivities

Nothing says it's summer like the 4th of July, and we are planning a special celebration. Though this year's Independence Day festivities are a little different than patriotic celebrations of season's past, here's what we have planned: Our chefs are preparing a special picnic-themed lunch to mark the occasion. The lunch menu includes: BBQ Beef Short Ribs (Alternate Option: White Fish Salad) Coleslaw Potato Salad Cherry Pie  Other red, white and blue-themed activities and treats include an M&Ms guessing game, berry shortcake snacks, 4th of July Word Scramble, historical information packet about Independence Day, adult coloring pages, and a themed word search.
