What's New?

Happy first week of May! This week we hosted A2 and B2 residents for socially distanced dining. We will continue to do this for lunch twice a week in the dining room for 16 residents at a time. Residents are seated six feet apart with groups of four for socialization, and masks are to be worn when they enter and leave the dining room.

Residents enjoyed a chips and dip treat in celebration of Cindo de Mayo, complete with a fun pinata! We look forward to a special menu this Sunday and want to wish all the mothers a very happy Mother's Day!

We are celebrating our wonderful nurses with special daily activities for Nurse Appreciation Week. If you would like to share a special note to our nursing team, please send an email to me (dnotaro@weinbergcampus.org) and copy Jeanne Harmor (jharmor@redpursemarketing.com). We will share your notes with nurses on May 12th.

Information for Visitors

In preparation for your visit, please review the following guidance:

Weekday visiting hours are Monday - Friday, by appointment only:
9:30 -10:30 a.m.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Evening visiting hours are available by appointment only on Tuesdays:
6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Weekend hours are available by appointment only on designated weekend days each month - the month's remaining dates are May 9 and May 29. Visits can be scheduled for:
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

All appointments should be made by 4 p.m. on Thursdays for the following week. Please contact Alyssa Fitzgerald, 716-639-3311 ext. 2458 or afitzgerald@weinbergcampus.org.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. If you are delayed due to unavoidable circumstances and will arrive late, please call Dana Zientara at 716-639-3311 ext. 2505.

Visiting hours are one hour in length.

You will need to make an appointment for all visits. If you are dropping off an item for a loved one, a visit cannot take place without an appointment.

When you arrive, please sign in at the reception desk. Please sign out when you leave.

A Dosberg Manor staff member will escort you to your loved one's room.

Visits will be held in resident rooms; designated visiting areas, or designated outdoor areas (weather permitting).

If your loved one is currently on a 14-day quarantine, they are not eligible for in-person visitation. However, virtual visits are still available.

All visitors will be screened for COVID-19. This will include a temperature check and questions about exposure to the virus and recent travel. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or had close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the prior 14 days (regardless of your vaccination status), you will not be allowed to visit in person.

Sanitize your hands when you arrive and throughout your visit.

Wear a face mask covering your nose and mouth at all times.

For residents living in a semi-private room, visitors may not enter the living space of the roommate or the shared bathroom.

Please use designated seating in each room and please do not move seating to ensure 6 feet of social distancing.

A designated VISITOR restroom is available past the Deli area.

You may only go to and from your loved one's room or designated visiting area. Visitors are not permitted anywhere else in the facility at any time.

Up to two individuals will be permitted to visit a resident at any one time.

Visitors under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
