Dear Dosberg Manor Residents, Family Members and Responsible Parties,

Happy November! Last week, residents enjoyed a safe and socially distanced Halloween parade led by staff, where they received lots of treats and enjoyed musical entertainment. Check out a snapshot of last week’s Halloween fun, below!
This week we started virtual exercise classes in small, socially distant groups with Sarah, which were very well received! We look forward to continuing to pursue new and creative ways to keep residents active. Next week we will be celebrating our veterans on Veterans Day with many fun activities, including a special socially distanced lunch in the dining room for veterans only, followed by a safe and socially distanced Veterans Day parade throughout the units to pay tribute to our heroes on campus!
Visitation Update
We have zero COVID-19 cases among residents and staff in our community. Please note we will be holding our visitation inside in our designated visitation area as we continue to experience increasing cold temperatures. You can schedule time with a loved one by completing our online pre-appointment questionnaire required by the DOH each time you would like to visit. Click here for more details on visiting hours and visitor protocols.

Skype or window visits can still be scheduled by contacting Alyssa Fitzgerald at [email protected], ext.2458. If you would like to receive more updates on your loved one, please contact Dana Zientara, case manager for Dosberg Manor, at [email protected], ext. 2505.
Visitation Guidance
In accordance with the New York State Department of Health (DOH) our visitation policy remains unchanged. The DOH advises that residents should only leave the facility for a medically necessary appointment.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we’d like to share guidance surrounding residents leaving Weinberg Campus to join family celebrations. To help keep residents and staff as safe and healthy as possible, the DOH discourages residents from leaving the facility in order to prevent potential spread of the virus. For visits that are medically necessary, residents continue to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and practice social distancing.
As a reminder, any resident that leaves the facility will require to be quarantined for 10 days upon their return to Weinberg Campus per the DOH guidance. Please contact Dana Zientara at [email protected], ext. 2505, so that arrangements can be made if you choose to take a resident out of the facility.

We appreciate your understanding that COVID-19 is something that we take very seriously. Our goal is to ensure that everyone remains safe and healthy.

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
