Welcome Tenzin, new Social Work intern!
Please join us in welcoming Tenzin to our team! She will spend Wednesdays and Thursdays in Dosberg Manor through May.

Tenzin moved to Queens, New York from India in 2012 and moved to Buffalo to pursue her education. She is currently completing a Masters Degree in Social Work at UB.

Residents had a meet and greet with Tenzin this week. Tenzin will be working on projects; doing one-on-one visits with assigned residents, forming support groups, and helping with activities and case management. 
Fire Drill
We held a successful full evacuation drill on Thursday, observed by an outside fire safety consultant. Our staff evacuated all residents following established fire drill protocols and residents were assisted to the dining room.

The Department of Health requires monthly fire drills on varied shifts and two full evacuation drills per year.
Stay Healthy & Safe with Vaccines
  • A Flu Clinic will be held in Dosberg Manor on November 3rd for residents.

  • Pfizer and Moderna Booster Vaccines were administered this week to eligible and interested residents and staff.  
Reminders for Visitors
  •  Visitation is 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., no appointment needed.

  • All guests must stop at front desk for screening upon arrival.

  • Visits will take place in resident rooms our outside the front of the campus. Visitors must escort their loved one outside and back to their room at the end of their visit.

  • For semi-private rooms, visitors are not allowed to enter the roommate’s space or the shared bathroom.

  • Up to two visitors at one time. Visitors under age 16 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.

  • Please wear a mask, wash hands and practice social distancing (at least 6 feet.)
